“Listen to the silence. It has so much to say.” Rumi.
I noticed that I sometimes am uncomfortable with silence. We have a notion in our culture that when we connect with others, it’s typically done through conversation. And silence breaks are often thought of as awkward… On the other hand, I’m happily silent during meditations, walks and by myself 🙂 Perhaps, we should try to add more breaks between the words and just “be” as opposed to “do” at times? Thoughts?
