Whenever I notice that I’m judging someone I always try to see the traits I dislike in them in myself. I also try to zoom out from the personality level into more of a witnessing / spiritual plane and understand how incredibly brilliant their soul is. As all of us are.

This familiar intense feeling of burning usually starts just below my navel, radiating up through my chest… Creating an excruciating pressing sensation between my breasts and moving up towards the throat. This energy – wanting to come out as a scream, a cry… Tears appearing and pouring out of my eyes. And another wave – covering me head to toe…

I love this on so many levels – I’ve noticed that when I become quieter – I’m able to better sense into myself (meditation, mindfulness, self care); others (focusing on their energy, stories, experiences and hence understanding better); this world – you’d be surprised how much more in touch with the energy, nature, universe we become when we quiet our minds. I notice how liberating and free my clients feel when we dive into their fantasies, sexual preferences without experiencing judgments, shame or guilt. Below are a few ideas on which questions to ask to get to know your partner’s fantasies a bit better. When this conversation is approached with an open mind in a judgement free space, results are miraculous.
