I used to hold onto to a lot of things, memories, attachments, blockages, idealized self image concepts for the longest time and that tension used to weigh me down. Upholding an image or a persona, keeping emotions / reactions deep within ourselves and trying to be the idealized version of ourselves takes up a lot of energy, work and tenses us up. If you pause for a second to notice any tension in your body and start breathing into each area with a focused attention, you may start noticing how you long for a release.

Letting go of old painful patterns / relationships (D + R)

Do you have trouble disconnecting from the people you dated or loved? If so, you’re not alone. According to the attachment theory we all attach in various ways. Some are avoidant and tend to connect slowly and reluctantly. Others attach and detach with ease. Letting go for someone who has an anxious attachment style is especially hard.

Have you noticed this? It is so interesting… As Esther Perel says – humans beings have two opposing needs:
First need is for security and safety, consistency and predictability
Second, and quite the opposite – for novelty, excitement and unpredictability
