Just recently someone has reached out to me and said that the idea of being in an open relationship really triggered him. He couldn’t understand how one could be married yet open to seeing others. On the other hand I often hear from many people who are in long term relationships and would like to open up; but are not sure how to do it without compromising their dynamic. If you’ve read some of my posts, you probably know that I’m a huge proponent of individuality. I believe we are all truly unique and beautiful. The differences among us allow up to shine our gifts into this world and make it vibrantly colorful.
I feel the same way towards relationships. A cookie cutter approach doesn’t serve us in our individual endeavors and therefore I feel that we should choose a path that works best for us. We need to select the way that makes us feel most happy and actualized. Of course, we try our best to achieve our dreams consensually and kindly with regards to others.

We are all truly unique – this is the beauty of being a human… Embracing the authenticity, being true to yourself and your needs.
