“I am pain free and totally in sync with life” Louise Hay
An interesting life hack I’ve noticed is when/if I’m in pain, I try to “remember” the experience of being pain free from a few days back. In a sense I try to focus on a bodily expression of wellness, going into that morphic field. It actually tends to work.
Another approach is to consciously ask the body to not process the negative emotions / stress as pain but as the emotions. If I set an intention on this – often the pain subsides and I find myself in the middle of an emotional storm. The waves come and pass… The well-being stays.
There’s a Great Book on how our unprocessed emotions are often turned into pain called “The Mindbody Prescription” by dr. John E. Sarno. Here’s a little blurb on this:
Dr. John E. Sarno’s Healing Back Pain is a New York Times best seller that has helped over 500,000 readers. Continuing the research since his ground-breaking book, the renowned physician now presents his most complete work yet on the vital connection between mental and bodily health…
Musculoskeletal pain disorders have reached epidemic proportions in the United States, with most doctors failing to recognize their underlying cause. In this acclaimed volume, Dr. Sarno reveals how many painful conditions – including most neck and back pain, migraine, repetitive stress injuries, whiplash, and tendonitises – are rooted in repressed emotions… and shows how they can be successfully treated without drugs, physical measures, or surgery. His innovative program has already produced gratifying results for thousands of patients. The Mindbody Prescription is your invaluable key to a healthy and pain-free life.
